Trinidad carnival is splendor,revelry and color. Brian Mac Farlane's "Resurrection" certainly met these requirements on Carnival Tuesday. Resurrection won the George Bailey Challenge trophy for the fourth time.

The band comprised of 16 sections with 48 characters which took the masses along a journey that started in the late 1800's Brian use of  copper, bronze, and gold highlighted the rebirth of our traditional characters in a totally new light.  Mac Farlane said the resurrection started in Tobago with the launch of the band in 2009. When the characters was brought back to life from the Bucoo Reef.

Traditional characters such as  Fancy Clowns, Blue Devils, Pierrot Grenade, Fancy Sailors, Dame Lorraines and Burrokeets and others looked very fresh and new in the Gold and copper washes.
